Born and raised in Greenwich Village, New York City

Relocated to Los Angeles in 1989 after spending a year studying film in Cuba

Early in his career, Alex worked in digital visual effects often patching holes in film with electronic smoke and mirrors. In 1996, Alex transitioned to 360 degree photography ans was soon traveling the world shooting for Microsoft, Discovery Channel and Paramount Pictures among others.

Alex Pitt's still photography has been exhibited in galleries across the country and in 2005 he had a solo museum exhibition in Krasnoyarsk, Siberia. Mr. Pitt lives in Silver Lake with his wife, Christine.
