"I paint to search for an harmony between the natural surface of the wood and the transparent quality of watercolors. The effect of the colors absorbed by the wood inspires me to explore many different subjects. My ambition is to express the vivid impression I find in nature's small fragments and help to evoke a color, texture or a memory in its absence.
